Membership Passes are your gateway to distribute perks to members! They can be free or paid, open to everyone, or apply-only.
To get started, follow the steps detailed below.
First, navigate to the “Passes & Treet” section from the left-hand menu.
This is your overview for Passes and Treets. You can switch between Treet and Passes by pressing the respective tabs.
Press “Create new Pass” to get started.
Your first choice is whether to create a Base Pass or Ambassador Pass.
- Base Pass: Choose this if you only want to distribute Treets directly to your members.
- Ambassador Pass: Choose this if you’d like your members to share the included Treets with people outside your community.
Please note that each time a member gets access to an Ambassador Pass, it counts toward the total number of free claims included in your plan.
Once you’ve selected a Pass type, you are ready to customize it.
- Create a title for your Pass. This will be visible on the Pass in the Intree app. Choose a short name that immediately tells the members what they stand to gain from claiming the Pass.
- Next, choose a standard pass design or an advanced style. Advanced style requires a pro-plan but allows you to upload custom designs to each Pass.
- If you opt for a standard design, you now have a choice of color and background.
- You also have the option to upload a logo that will appear in the corner of the Pass. If you do not, your community logo will be used by default.
- Now that your Pass is designed, it’s time to choose the payment type.
- You can choose to offer your Pass to your members for free or for a fee. Creating free passes requires either a standard or pro subscription.
- If you choose to create a paid pass, you can set a price, which must be at least €1.00.
- Now, choose whether the payment is subscription-based or single-purchase.
- If you choose a subscription-based payment, you can also change the payment interval, either monthly or yearly. If this is your first time launching a paid pass, we recommend sticking with monthly payments.
- Finally, you can choose whether this Pass should be available for all community members or if they must apply to access it.
- If you choose to apply an application gate, members apply via the Intree app, and you can reject or accept their application within the “Community” overview on Intree Hub.
- You can only set a custom Pass claim limit to specify the total number of members who can join your Pass. Once the claim is hit, users cannot claim the Pass until you raise the limit.
- Now, you are ready to save your Pass. You can save it as a “Draft” or immediately publish it. Once the Pass is published, it will be visible and available for members.
